When dealing with a deep/touchy topic how do we decide what content is age appropriate for our students?

When students may not know how to react and react in an inappropriate way, how should you as the teacher respond to this behavior?

If I do not have the knowledge to answer a question asked by a student? Is it okay for me to tell that student I am going to do some more research before I answer that question?
Before We start activities
Still I Rise: Looking at these two text I see that these people used their voice to stand up for what they believed in even though they were being brought down by a negative connotation. In the poem we see what it means to never give up and keep fighting for what you believe in by the phrase, and like air I rise.
